Welcome everyone! Please welcome back Marc and Julianne to the blog! If they look familiar to you, it could be because I took their ‘non-engagement’ pictures almost a year ago. Or maybe you remember them from my November Round Up and their surprise proposal? Also, Julz has been my best friend since we were five, so she tends to be in my pictures/around me a lot when I’m taking pictures. Needless to say, when Marc proposed, she instantly was like, “you’re going to take my pictures right? and we can do an Atlanta engagement session!?” I’m over here like, “uhm, duh!”
It was an honor to get to be there for the proposal. Plus, Julz asking me to take their engagement pictures as well. I was just been a very happy best friend. It’s been a joy and a pleasure to be there along the whole journey of their relationship.
So when planning this shoot, Marc and Julz knew they wanted Atlanta to be a key part of their pictures. They decided on the Beltline and Piedmont Park. Not only are they close together, but it really did give us different background options without being un-realistic with different locations. Plus, we actually still have one more location that we have to go to once COVID allows us to go into stores again.
We lucked out that the rain decided to hold off while we were shooting. And SURPRISE, it ended up being 80 degrees, and you know what… I got sunburned… because none of us were expecting that. But, I’ll always take the better weather.
