Well, a small risk… but a risk nonetheless. I shot this entire session Arabia Mountain Engagement session with a different camera then I normally use. I’m looking towards my next camera purchase and I thought, “Well, I have two sessions this weekend, why not?” I think I handled it quite well.
So, this Jesse and Emma. Fun fact, Emma and I have been friends since middle school and we cheered together back in the day (2020 will be our 10 year anniversary of winning Worlds). BUT, this legitimately is the first time I’ve met Jesse and they’ve been together for about three years or so!
We first were down at Vaughter’s Farm with the barn. It’s a great location to get the field look and then pop over to Arabia Mountain. The locations are so close to each other. Essentially, you can’t have one without the other. We ended our session at Arabia with Jesse and Emma’s more dressy look.
Emma and Jesse were a blast to be around and to photograph. Their energies play so well off each other. They joke around and just have fun with each other. Let me play whatever music I wanted and kept dancing. It makes my job so easy!
We did spend a good 30 minutes or so trying to catch lightning. It was a lot of fun because I was like “WAIT, JUST KEEP KISSING OR FOREHEADS TOGETHER”. At one point Emma just started dancing in-between the lightning strikes. Thankfully, our session ended before it started storming!
