December 31, 2020
I’ll be honest, 2020 was not the worst year of my life. Don’t get me wrong, it’s been not a great year, but again, I’ve had worse.
2020 for me, was a year of growth and learning and achieving goals I’ve wanted for such a long time.
Much like last year, I had goals.
I bought a new camera at the beginning of this year (Helllllo, EOS R). And, I did work out more this year… but then COVID hit and that really went down the tube… but, it’s on the list for 2021.
WEDDINGS. Y’all, 2020 was my first FULL year of business. And you know what, I booked 11 weddings. ELEVEN. Now, I only captured 10 of them (again, COVID), but I still achieved my goal for my business. I was so unbelievably excited to mark that goal off of my list.
I moved to a new floor at the hospital to give me better availability with weekends. Kyle and I finished our downstairs basement (this week but it’s done!). ANNND, this was my first year paying myself from my business.
2020 has been less than ideal for a lot of people but for me personally, it’s been worth it. To sit here and say I still marked off my goals brings me so much joy.
To wrap up 2020, let’s recap.
Thank you again to ALL of my couples. You’ve brought so much joy to my heart and so much happiness to truly make this dream of mine a reality. I’ll never been able to thank you all enough.
