Let me tell you, I’ve been looking forward to shooting this wedding in north Georgia. I met Lyndey back when we onboarded for nursing together. She reached back out for me to be her photographer for her engagement and wedding. I was happy and it was a complete honor.
As a refresher, Kyle and Lyndey’s engagement pictures were back at the gorgeous Roswell Mill. We shot their engagement pictures last October. It reaffirms that everywhere is gorgeous in October. It’s a great location that offers hiking, a bridge, and even a waterfall!
Kyle and Lyndey’s original wedding date was back in April at Fendley Farmstead, a venue located in North Georgia. Due to COVID, it got moved to June and I’m happy to say we were blessed with a beautiful (and warm) day. I only ended up sweating a par to of the day away when I was shooting detail shots in the greenhouse. Can we talk about greenhouses for a second? I’m in awe of how many keep popping up and I ALL FOR IT. It gives such a beautiful vibe to the venue. Unfortunately, it was a little too warm for me to ask my bride and groom to get in it. Nobody wants a bride passing out on her wedding day… even if you have a lot of nurses at the wedding.
I always feel so lucky when I go to shoot weddings. I’ve been so lucky to be surrounded by my couple’s family and they’re always so warm and welcoming. This wedding was no different. I ended the night with hugs from both sides of the families and I feel so lucky to be able to do this for couples.
Kyle and Lyndey, thank you for making my first full wedding back from COVID a memorable one!
