Fall finally made it’s apparence and just in time for this Atlanta engagement session. Honestly though, it sure has taken forever for my favorite weather to get here. The gorgeous colors of fall are here and I’m in love. I’ve been waiting for these colors to get here ALL YEAR, and ya’ll, I sure do love them.
This Atlanta engagement session is all about Matt and Caroline. Caroline reached out to me to shoot their engagement session and how could I say no? They introduced me to this AMAZING little secret park where they visit. We got an amazing session out of it.
Both recently graduated. Matt as a lawyer. Caroline working within the healthcare system. Their wedding is going to back home up north later in the year. It sounded like a beautiful moment was going to be between the two of them.
I really do love getting to meet new couples through my photography. I got to let them be themselves and be silly. I’m not sure if I expected at the beginning of the session for them to let me ask them to do a dip kiss or even a piggyback ride but it sure was one hell of time once we started doing those pictures as well.
What I really love about this session in particular is the colors by the water. When we first got there, it was still a little too bright, but as the sunset, the color of the leaves and the reflection against the water almost make it look like an oil painting. It truly was one of my favorite pictures I’ve taken this year.
This engagement session was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Plus, Kyle made me some homemade chili once I got back and honestly, that’s always a win… especially since fall is here!
Leave a comment below if you have any great chili recipes! We’re always looking for some!
