It’s in the fall. Why is this this perfect time for a Sope Creek engagement you ask? Because the weather is fantastic and the water is only a little cold. Well, thankfully I was only in the water for like three seconds but Nicholas and Ciera got their feet wet and it made for a great picture.
Ciera and I met back in middle school. It was a joy for her to reach out and ask me to be their engagement and wedding photographer. Ciera and I discussed some options for their engagement pictures and we settled on Sope Creek.
Sope Creek is a local hiking trail that you can get lost on. I know this, because we tried to go down to the water and went the wrong way and got lost.
Nicholas, Ciera, and I made our way down to the ruins and the creek. It was pretty interesting because there was about four other sessions: an engagement session, a senior session, a styled shoot (pirates), and a rap video. I’m not gonna lie, it kept us pretty entertained watching the other sessions while they were changing into their second outfits.
We had a wonderful evening taking these pictures. I’m so excited for their wedding next year at Fendley Farmstead!
Did you like Nick and Ciera’s engagement session? Awesome! Check out Jonny and Hailey’s Roswell Mill session for a similar vibe!
